Earned his medical degree from Bombay University, as well as completed his pediatric residency in New York and clinical fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Johns Hopkins University. Executive MBA from the Ohio State University.

Prior to his current role, held several positions in academia, most recently as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University, USA.

Member of the North American Society of Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). 
Served on several boards and committees over the last 10 years. He has written more than 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals and contributed chapters to textbooks and many educational presentations/webinars.
