Served in many international councils, including European Society Pediatric Research, International Pediatric Research Foundation, European Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology & Nutrition and served as chair of the Committee of Nutrition. 

Approximately 350 peer reviewed articles, predominantly on neonatal nutrition and metabolism. 

Associate-editor of several nutrition and metabolism journals and supervised over 40 (MD)-PhD students.
