At a recent scientific symposium of the 4th Parenteral and Enternal Nutrition Society of Malaysia (PENSMA) congress held in Penang, Malaysia, Dr B Ravinder Reddy from Kamineni Hospital, Hydrabad (AP), India discussed the protein metabolism in acute conditions, maldigestion and malnourished states, as well as the clinical uses of peptide-based diet in the management of malabsporption and maldigestion in various disease conditions.
