2015 Nutrition Update Day: Protein in Paediatrics

On Friday April 17, 2015 a full-day scientific symposium was held in Melbourne, co-hosted by the DOHaD Society AU-NZ; the Nutrition Society of Australia; & the Nestlé Nutrition Institute. Entitled “Protein in Paediatrics – Nutrition Update Day”, the symposium featured 5 excellent speakers on various protein-related topics such as human milk protein dynamics and the long-term effects of excessive protein intake in early life. Peter Fryer, head of the Nestlé Nutrition Institute in Australia was in attendance and has summarised the key points of the symposium.
