Different approaches for the induction and maintenance of remission in Pediatric CD

Pediatric Crohn’s Disease (CD) therapies are expected to have rapid onset of action, to be effective, safe and with long durability. Exclusive enteral nutrition is recognized as the first line therapy for induction of remission in active CD in children, but implementation is challenging. Crohn’s disease exclusion diet can be a new nutritional strategy in CD.
