ESPEN Congress on Clinical Nutrition & Metabolism 2012
The Spanish Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (SENPE) organized the 34th Congress of the European Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) in Spain, in the historic and cultural city of Barcelona. In close collaboration with the members of ESPEN Committees, an attractive educational and scientific programme was designed, which broadly covered the fields of nutrition and metabolism. In harmony with the motto of the Congress “Achieving goals in nutrition”, the Congress addressed the practical aspects of nutritional treatment, definied goals in nutrition care and presented the advances of the last few years. The NNI organized a satellite symposium "Synergy in Motion: Combining nutrition and exercise for optimal physical function".
