Professor and Consultant of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, and currently works at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), Abu Dhabi, UAE where he looks after children in pediatric inpatient wards and outpatient clinics for a broad spectrum of diseases
He also presides the Nutrition & Growth Clinic and attends to children and babies with feeding difficulties, failure to thrive, nutritional behavioral disorders and different nutritional-related problems
Graduate of Cairo University where he obtained his Master's degree (M.Sc.) and then Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.) in General Pediatrics
He obtained his Pediatric Fellowship from the Royal College of Pediatrics (FRCPCH), London (UK)
Co-Chair of the IPA Program area Committee on Nutrition (Middle East), an International Member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC),
He is also an international instructor of the Pediatric Fundamentals Critical Care Support (PFCCS) course
Special interest in vaccinations, infections, antibiotics, allergic and asthmatic patients, diagnosis and management of functional disorders, and common renal and metabolic diseases
He has numerous publications in reputable journals related to his interests
