Also acts as the Designated Contact for the Rare Disease Registry at Vittorio Bucci Children's Hospital, focusing on congenital defects in amino acid metabolism and transport
Participated in various European community projects, primarily addressing topics such as metabolic programming and childhood obesity since 2002
Been the Chair of the Special Interest Group of Childhood Obesity in European Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, ESPGHAN since 2022
Appointed by the Italian Ministry of Health as a member of the Technical Committee on Nutrition and Animal Health, specifically in the section for Dietetics and Nutrition at the national level in 2022
