Marvin Olaes

Marvin Ray D. Olaes is an Assistant Professor 1 and the Associate Dean for Public Affairs of the Department of Speech Communication and Theatre Arts, College of Arts and Letters, University of the Philippines, where he also earned his MA in Speech Communication.

Prior to this, he has also held academic posts in San Sebastian College Recolletos de Cavite, Philippines, and De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, Philippines as a lecturer for communications. At the same time, he also develops courses related to communications.

Prof. Olaes is also an active content creator, voice talent and radio broadcaster, and delivers lectures on communication on different platforms (for hybrid and online learning, hosting, podcasting, audio drama, public speaking, etc.) for different audiences in the Philippines.
