Diet has taken an important step forward with the adoption of EEN as a recommended first line therapy. This has led to a search for a more tolerable and feasible dietary approach for induction of remission. The existence of a novel dietary therapy comprised from a whole food diet coupled with partial enteral nutrition will place diet and dietitians at the forefront of therapy of CD in the future.
