With more developments in research, it has been shown that nutrition is playing a more important role in pregnancy. Another pressing issue is the development of allergies among children, however there has been a shift to building tolerance as compared to avoiding allergens, at the same time, human milk oligosaccharides or HMOs have shown promise in its role in allergy prevention and in the positive effects of breastfeeding.
