Early Interventions Can Have a Long Lasting Effect on Childhood Allergies

Early feeding with cow's milk protein hydrolysates may be one strategy to reduce the incidence of atopic dermatitis in children. The GINI study is the largest study in the field of allergy prevention with hydrolysates and the study with the longest follow-up (up to now until 20 years). In addition to risk reduction of atopic dermatitis, the 20-years results of GINI study have demonstrated a reduction in the incidence of asthma after puberty.
