The 2 years program's objective is to train pediatricians in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of intestinal, liver and pancreatic diseases in children as well as pediatric nutrition. Training comprises both clinical and scientific research components. Training language is French.
A 2 year fellowship, supported by the European Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and the Nestle Nutrition Institute, is available at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of Stellenbosch University, South Africa

The fellowship program course in pediatric gastroenterology is for 12-24 months and is available to non-Australian trained doctors and is designed for trainees who have successfully completed general pediatric training in their country of origin to a suitable level. This position will be appropriate for trainees wishing to pursue a clinical practice, which includes paediatric gastroenterology.
