Summary

This program presented on August 17, 2016 defines what a nutrition guidelines bundle is and how this helps improve patient outcomes. Obstacles to appropriately feed the patient in the critical care setting are addressed including how to overcome these challenges. Several methods for nutritionally supporting the ICU patient, as per the 2016 Critical Care Nutrition Guidelines are also reviewed to help the ICU clinician apply to practice.
