Two Health Economic Analysis

Editor(s): Conference Proceedings & Specific Issues 2010

Atopic dermatitis (AD) or eczema places a significant economic burden on the healthcare system and patient’s families. Two health economic analysis were performed in France and Spain to determine costs, consequences and cost-effectiveness of 100% whey-based partially- hydrolized formula as compared to standard formula and extensively hydrolyzed formula in the risk reduction of AD in “at risk” infants who are not breastfeed. The results calculated from different perspectives can be read in the two posters.
