The 6th Congress of Asian Society for Pediatric Research & 51st Annual Meeting of TPA

Summary

The ASPR had organized, joined by the Taiwan Pediatric Association and the Chang Gung Children's Hospital and Chang Gung University College of Medicine their 6th Congress. As children represent 25% of Asia's four billion population, it was considered a very important event for the region. Advancing research efforts in childhood diseases, finding ways to determine the causes of these diseases and developing effective treatments – was nominated as a common goal. The Congress had been considered a good forum and the best platform for all health professionals interested in pediatric research to form closer ties with colleagues and peers from around the world in a concerted effort to achieve substantial progress in improving children's health and ensuring that our next generation lives a healthy and productive life.
