Dietary prevention and management of allergies in childhood – An outlook into the future

At a Nestlé Nutrition Institute satellite symposium held during the XXII World Allergy Congress in Cancún, México leading international experts discussed the diagnosis and treatment of severe cases of food allergy and reviewed recommendations on the dietary management of food allergy in children. The experts also introduced oral tolerance as an approach to treat food allergy.
